Tranny shop n SC/NC area?

Is there any tranny shops in the SC/NC area that can do a good job rebuilding a TR trans? I need something that can survive in a mid to low 11 sec car and don't want to have to pull it myself and send it halfway across the country.

There's no one local that I know of. I've tried a few people in the Charlotte area and they didn't work out. I now send all my tranny work to Vince Janis in Ohio, after I pull the tranny out of the car.

Thanks for the reply Keith. That really sucks there's nobody a bit more local that can handle this type of work. BTW, are you guys going to be coming back to Darlington anytime soon?

I just had my tranny rebuilt b a local guy. I'm very happy with it. Though I drive a camaro and not a TR. But I make over 500 hp and it seems to be holding up.
