This is the second time this exact situation has happened to me. Going from a slow roll, about half throttle, and bam. It hits second gear, knock sensor goes crazy and barely moves. But this time it makes a slipping sound from the TC. Last time no sound and it turned out to be the input shaft, this one has a hardened one. Well, its supposed to. Got it home by a friend and a trailer, luckily he has a low mileage stocker with tc that hes gonna sell to me to use for now. So is it possible the tc blew? But even if it did, junk went thru the vb and pretty much messed it up, huh?

Well, since you are about to drop off the page, here's an inexpert reply that may be better than none-

Yes, you could have torn the guts out of the torque conveter.

If your tranny blew and you parked the car, I don't see how a lot of crud would be running through the valve body. Nothing shifting sounds like no flow through the valves.

You'll know when you tear it apart:( .
