Just a few questions about using the 16in (GNX) trans am wheels.

#1 I would like to use good rubber in the back that will grip good
on the street and handle good, any recommendations will be appreciated.
#2 Some pictures of 16in wheels installed will also be appreciated.
#3 Do wheels marked rear go in the front or rear on the GNs??

Thanks.

This is the only 16" tire in a M\T ET Street radial that I know of.

It really depends on your application when it comes to tires. I wouldn't want to be caught in the rain with my ET's. If you want a tire for a fair weather only car they work great.

Ideally, yes all 4 should be fronts, but you can use rears on the front or back with spacers and longer studs..
There are countless threads with all the information and photos that you want. Use the search feature for everything you need to know about GTA's. They are a great looking wheel on a Turbo Buick.

Here are some pics with and without the centercaps (keep losing them:mad: )

I like this shot for the distant view, the outer rim just pops against the rest of the car.

S1NISTER, try to find the metal insert that goes with the centercaps, Don't know where to tell you to find them, but I haven't lost one. They have some "teeth" that grip the plastic and make it a real PITA to remove them.

M&H also makes a 275/55/16 DR, they're almost 28" tall.

-"WLDWST", for your info, M&H makes a street radial in size 275-55-16 (picture below...)

-As for using spacers to use GTA "rears" on a GN, how thick the spacers need to be? I'm asking this because I have two "rears"...and if I decide NOT to use them (which is more than likely), I will put them up for sale here or on Ebay...
thanks,

Claude

Here are some comparision pics for you. My radial tires I run on my T-type are 16"x10" GTA wheels widened by G-Bodyparts. The tires I run are BF Goodrich 295/50/16. Here is a tire that MT which is bigger then my radials.
Here are my radials. My radials fit with no rubbing what so ever with no frame notch. The MT are wider so I don't know if it requires a massage of the frame or not.
