Trans Brake operator

Hey guys I sent my trans. off to Brian Hofer for a rebuild I'm placing a trans-brake in my 200 how does the trans-brake work and how effective will it be

The brake works by placing the trans in manual 1st. You build boost or rpm to the desired level, then you move/push the shifter forward to 2nd with a ratchet shifter, or "D" with a stock shifter to release the brake.

This will work best with slicks. Drag radials may work OK on a well prepped track. I had no luck at our local Lasmear (actually Lapeer) Intl Dragway!

The brake is really fun to impress your friends who have never been in a car with one!
