hi,
what is the best trans brake for a 200r4?

would like alot of opnions.

also would like to know how easy or hard the install is. thanks, nick

Well

Basically there are four. The stage right mechanical thing, real cheap in price, more of a novelty, but trans damaging in long run.
Does not set correctly at all times and slow release.

then PTS Xtreme has the Bat Brake. Electrically operated and shifts automatically if desired. Not cheap in price and A performance pan is mandated. Works exceptional. Low sprag protection. Internal modifications are necessary and billet parts are recommended.

Then, Ck Performance has one. Electrically operated, Internal Modifications are required as well and billet parts are recommended. Works well from what I hear and I am not sure about pan mods. Also, not cheap in price.

Lonnie Diers has one too. Electrically operated, similiar to the Bat Brake but manual shifted I believe. Works excellent also. Not cheap.

That is what I know of that is on the market right now.

I used a right stage brake for a year with on problem. I launched at 20lbs. boost almost every time at the track. I went to the track every Friday night too. The tranny was almost all shock too with a 10 vane pump and cooler. If I do another one it will be a right stage brake again. Good luck
