Trans. Buzz noise off idle.

Just curious about a buzz/woosh noise I am getting from my fresh trans in all forward gears and reverse. Is this normal for a built trans? You can hear it really good with the car stopped, foot on the brake and giving it a little throttle. Fluid level is a 1/4 quart over and all the convertor bolts are tight. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could be your pump bypass becuase of too much pressure. Did the builder modify the pump for full volume at all times? (block the pump slide)

I am not sure if he did that. It doesn't seem to affect anything, just wondering if it's normal or not.
