I am in the middle of installing a BM super cooler on my 87 T. Using AN fittings and 8 braided line. Where is the best place to the run the lines? The cooler is installed in front of the AC condensor. I am trying to stay away from down pipe and exhaust.

I have always done the install with -6 lines.
But, the install was easiest for me by just following the factory line location, with a bit more slack or clearance here or there. :)

I have already purchased the 8 line. Will the 8 line work? I know that 6 is smaller and more simple to route. I thank you for your input. This site is great.

The -8 will work.
It is a touch on the large side though.
I was told to keep things moving better in the cooler lines to run the smaller of the two.

Al,

I did end up going to the 6AN line. It worked great. I think the 4AN would be to small.
