checking cooler pressure due to thrust bearing failure

pressures were as follows with pressure gauge t'd into lower trans line

idle
p 19
r 28
od 19
d 19
2 32
1 32
had car on jack stands did not check while driving will this matter ??
did footbrake while on stands and could get pressure to jump almost to 40 about 38 in 1st brakes wouldn't hold much though

are these pressures normal

did take close look at tc can't find any numbers on it no d5 stamp and its painted black original tc's weren't painted were they??

the t/c itself can't cause thrust bearing failure it has to be from tc pressure correct?

I think you want to check line pressure on the trans, not the pressure in the trans lines themselfs. There is a pressure tap on the trans that you unscrew and screw the gauge into. You will want a gauge that goes to about 400 psi.
