RPM Tranmission in Daleville Indiana. I'm lucky that Rodney the owner, is one of my bestest friend.

I would like to have some pics of that mounting plate. That looks like one that will let you rotate the trans upside down. I am building a V-8 eddy current transmission dyno and need some ideas of how to get it done.

Lonnie

I will ask if it is OK--probably so--yes you can pull the locking pin and rotate 360 degrees--great for draining the fluid or servicing the VB and reg. valve assembly. It has an electric fluid pump for fill--a drain pan underneath---the main base is the fluid chamber. It also has a line pressure and cooler pressure gage. 4 cyl. Ford industrial eng. Don't know much about the brake. He has some electronics that they use for their 4L60 and other later (than a 200) trans. It is a nice piece and they treat it as such.

One of the best tools to have in a tranny shop. Lots of issues can be found before the tranny is ever shipped out the door. Not to mention being able to test cooler line pressure, t-brake pressure and for pressure spikes. We've got an old T-350 that we've taken and cut a section of housing away and replaced with clear plastic so we can watch the internals with it on the dyno.

I am very familiar with that Dyno its about a 60K+ piece with the 4 banger. The big V-8 Versions can top 100K. I would be happy with the one pictured. The one I am building can apply up too 1200ft/lb to the transmission not that I will have an engine large enough to transmit that much power. If you can help cool if not I understand. I am starting with something very basic. The rotating plate is in the plans just looking for ideas.
