I have an OZ 85 442 Trans of unknown mileage, I believe it's around 55k but not sure... the fluid isn't burnt and looks decent. I am adding a new stock converter since I don't know the condtion of the current one.
What's the best fluid to use to avoid the internal seals from becoming leaky. I heard of someone mentioning using Type F since it doesn't contain conditioners and cleaners that allot of fluids have and ususally result in eating away at the seals.
Are the "High Mileage fluids" any good?
What about Lucas Oil Additive?
Thanks!
