Trans help in the fort worth area??

Needed a little info or help on my transmission in my GN.
Wondering if anyone was good at them or could point me the right way.
I have a th400 3 speed maual b&m shift kit.
Trans break

Trans runs fine forward and reverse. But randomly I lost my second gear....
At first it came back for a few days if I did a burnout.
But now its just not there.
When I shift into second. It just stays in first.
But it does shift in to third no problem.

One person told me sprang and another person said valve body... Any ideas??

All help appreciated!

there's Jake on this board that can probably help you out.
Don't know him though - so I can't given any recommendations.

Phoenix has been known for transmission for awhile, but I've heard of them being costly for what you get - questionable to me anyway.

Jake Shoe performance in Sanger. I know Jake and if/when I need work done or have a question on a RWD GM tranny I call him. I've been to his house as well as his shop. He doesn't have a big place but he knows his chit on trannys.
