Trans issue

Swapped the filter and fluid out in my trans. Now it takes a second or two to shift from neutral to drive. It didnt have the issue before i changed fluid and filter. any ideas to what it is?

Do you get enough fluid back in it?

yup. i put the exact specifications from this website back in it.

the only exact spec on a transmission is to check the dipstick after cycling the gears , for higher performance the level shouldbe filled to the first bend of the S on the dipstick

That's what i did. i put fluid in it. i got it hot after driving it, checked it, and then added til it said full.

you may need to drop the pan and recheck what you did on the filter seal
