trans not shift

the trans was shifting good before the tv boot leak when i fix the leak the trans wouldn't shift out of first gear can anyone tell me what wrong with it or what can i do to fix it thanks

My vote is that your TV cable is not connected. That put the transmission into 'limp mode' which will maximize pressure and cause it to shift way late. Disconnect the TV cable from the throttle body and give it a tug. Does it spring back?
