TRANS + now no tach

translater+ now no tach

Put the trans + on. Now the tach does'nt work. I hooked the t+ to the white wire going to the coil pack. If I unhook it and w3ire it back to stock it is fine. The tach is hooked up to the tach lead under the hood.

Your tapping into the wrong wire. I did the same thing. If memory serves, the EST wire is farther back towards the firewall. My EST wire is "sorta" white, stained from age. The tach wire was still nice and clean white, so I tapped into it first. Same thing happen to you?
