Trans shields ????

also posted in the tranny section but lots of guy's don't read that I need a SFI tranny shield in case we run faster what are you guy's running and where did you buy it ?????? don't want a blanket .. thanks

Are you concerned with the "SFI" sticker?

If not, I can make you a trick Carbon Kevlar shield. A tech inspector will pass it probably as he will probably not even really look for a shield.

Art Car makes one that is SFI approved. Pittman hasn't installed it on his car yet so if you would like to see it let me know. We ran Pittman's car on Wednesday and it started to come around. It ran a 10.41 at 132 with a 5 disc Precision converter that was wired wrong and wouldn't lock. Converter is very loose (4000 stall) and purchased that way to work with lock-up.

grab it if you can ... that would be great ... I have an older AC one here but it doesn't fit very good ... just put the tranny back up Ill give ya a call tomorrow :c
