Trans shifts to high

well, i set the tv cable per recomendation and this is when the problem began
if you kick it down it flashes 6,000 rpm then off it goes it seems to shift softer down low were before it kicked pretty hard, no flare up between shifts etc, spins tires from 40 mph so i dont think it is slipping. Fluid is fresh and full. any thoughts?

Update really shooting a blank here .......

got the pan off fluis is crystal clear no 'dust' in the pan period.


fixing to have a gander at the governor anyone have any ideas????????

it has also started slipping when you turn a corner, or accelarate hard meaning when the car leans or lift the front slightly. Ive tried to loosen and tighten the tv cable with not much of a change either way.

I just cant really belive this, it drove fine sat overnight then poof it acts up
