Trans Swap Question

Is there any advantage to swapping in a 700r4 in place of the 2004r. Is the &00 a stronger Trans?

Can of worms.

I'd have to say, at this stage in the game, putting up the best aftermarket 700R4 vs. a 2004R, the 2004R would come out on top. There's no advantage to sticking a 700R4 in a TR.

Besides, a 700R4 would require an adapter plate to mount to the engine and the OD ratio isn't quite as steep either.
