trans wiring

is there to tap into the lockup wiring so i can use it to trigger my 2 stage boost control? Since the tranny will not lockup in 1st I was just thinking if I can use it I won't have to use a push button for a solenoid. I just can't remember exactly how the l/u is disabled in 1st gear.

Stock configuration won't lock at all at WOT and even the chips that do allow it won't lock until 3rd gear.

Better off using the 3rd gear pressure switch...

And this is off the top of my head but I believe it's 2nd gear oil that feeds the lockup solenoid, so in other words it's inhibited hydraulically in 1st and then controlled electrically after that.

If you want boost to change in 3rd gear, that is possible by tapping into the trans wiring. Otherwise you need to use other means

I just need it a lil lower in 1st, really breaks loose at top of 1st.

You can use the 3rd & 4th gear pressure switch

Note that the 3rd gear switch is active in both 3rd & 4th gear.
