Transmission Bolts

Hi All,

I removed the tranny today, and I want to know the bolts that fasten the tranny to the bell housing together, should the bolts and have lock washers, or just the bolts by them self. Thanks

No lock washers on mine. Shouldn't need them.

What about vibration that might loosen the bolts. The reason why I'm asking because today when I was loosening the tranny bolts one of them was loose and also missing one.

Lock washers can really dig into the Aluminum. Some Green or Blue Locktite would be a better idea.

I use studs with nyloc nuts. Real easy to install trans with them also.
