Transmission Fluid capacity

So I have a stupid question. But I have to know. How many quarts total does the transmission, cooler, and torque converter take? the cooler is stock, the converter is a stock D5, and the Pan is stock as well. I have been hearing 10 from some people, and 12 from others. Thanks.

maybe put 10 in it an check the fluid level .. IF it's low add more.

dont just try dumping 10 qts in... it may take close to 10 with a 12" stock converter but 10 wont fit untill the pump runs to fill the converter

dump 5qts in and start it up and start adding to see what it takes to put the level at the first S bend on the stick
