transmission govener???

can you clean the transmission govener???,i ask b/c my governer is causing my transmission not to shift while full throttle going from first into second, it also redlines if i dont get off whie it shifts into second.

You have something else going on. Cleaning the govenor will NOT help. How long has this been going on? What is the history of this trans? Details, details,

I bought the car from my uncle, and he did not drive the car much, b/c he has other cars as well. But i test drove the car it shifted fine going from 1st to 2nd, and if i floored it wide open throttle going from 1st to 2nd, the rear end would be all over the road going from 1st into 2nd. When i bought the car same senario. I drove the car 200 miles, and when i got there that is when i notice that the shift points had changed. Now when if i floor it wide open throttle going from 1st into 2nd, my car will redline and act as if it does not want to shift. But if i get off of it, it will shift.

Take out some tv adjustment. Maybe cable has slipped. Also sitting may have brought on valve spring weakness. They will have the same affect on the shift.
