Are the stock 2004R transmission lines 5/16"? Wanting to install a "T" on the discharge line to verify transmission pressure. This is temporary install - any suggestions to just verify the discharge pressure? I don't want to cut the originals if possible.

Thanks, Craig

That will only tell you the cooler line pressure. If you want to check the trans pressures you need a 1/8 NPT to # 6 adapter. Put it in the correct port and then attach a 0-400 PSI gauge with a 4 ft hose so you can read in the car .

The port mentioned above is on driver side near the shift shaft. Watch that exhaust when running the line up to tape the gauge on the windshield so you can get good readings while accelerating and such.

The torque converter company request the discharge pressure from the upper transmission line going to the radiator. Thanks guys for the input. I found a fitting 1/8 npt that I can use hose on either end. I can connect the gauge to that fitting. Thanks for the info.
