Transmission Shop In Central Ohio ???

I'm in Columbus and have an '87 Turbo T with a shot tranny. I'm trying to find a shop locally to rebuild it due to the high shipping cost involved with sending it out or buying a reman. There's a local shop ( A Transmission Masters ) that says they'll do it for $800 to $1,200.They have a good rep and have done non-TR work for me in the past but I'm still not sure about having them do it....
The car is nearly stock and will probably never see anything faster that high 12's so I don't think I need any real high dollar parts. Anyone have any experience with these guys or have any advice for me? Thanks

Ohio Tranny recommendations

Here's the two recommended Tranny guys in ohio I've heard of.
but I don't know how close to Columbus they are.

I recommend Lonnie. He is about 45 minutes east of downtown Cincy.

A good trans guy in ohio is rossler does nothing but drag trannys look in national dragster to get #.
