I always use the stand on everything method...I take the hood off because it is only bots and 2 screws, and I climb on top of everything.... Witht he turbo still off, I straighten out the tube, stick that in first, then drop in the turbo. Out of the four times I removed and re-installed a turbo, NOT ONCE, did I mess up or leak oil. I have been told liquid wrench is the hole is tight, and also, make sure your pipe doesnt get kinked or pinched....That is why I straighten it out...If I feel it fold up before I get the turbo down, i know I gotta go up again...Long story short, just a few extra inches can save a lot of headaches!!!

p.s. I stand on the fenders with clean sneakers, and I can also kneel on the center of the intake....Stack 2 milk crates on one side of the car so you can climb in and our (or a 5 gallon pail)...I dont know how many people actually tried this, but it worked like a charm for me!!
