Trip Odometer does not reset

So i press in the little button and it doesnt go back to all zeros, it looks like it tries but just doesnt do it

How can i fix this?

I have the same problem. Has anyone been able to figure out what may be wrong?

Appears to be gear problem in the cluster. You need to take it apart and replace whats broken. Question is if GM has these parts still?

Me.. i'd get a cluster from ebay or a junk yard.. that way I have parts.. then tear into it. Shouldnt be too hard.

That fix works but you have to be REAL careful as handling the dials fades them fast.

I will gather the courage to break the dash out sometime in the near future. With all the add-ons to remove getting to it, just makes me want to put it off, LOL...
