Trunk Hinges???

I see alot of racer that have removed their stock trunk hinge and spring and replaced with just a hinge and a "prop" to hold the trunk up.
Does someone sell the hinge or we're they homemade?

You can remove the stock trunk springs and still use the stock hinges.

Yeah...I was considering doing that, but if I tub the wheel well, the stock hinges will be in the way won't they? Guess I should have mention that I had planned to knotch and tub the rear in the first post.

You may have to "copy and paste" but this is what I was refering to. Kinda looks like a homemade fabrication. Might have to do the same.

Thats silly,,check the stereo section and look for Audiuowizard's car ,,the is a newer style then his ,which I would not mind doing myself,,,maybe he can direct you/us to where that trunk was ....
