Trunk Strip and Paint

Stripping my trunk of old paint and adhesive as the carpet is worn out and coming apart.

Stripping to bare metal and putting a layer of clean metal primer followed by a top coat of Rustoleum Stop Rust Satin Black.

What kind of metal is the trunk made out of?

Anyone have suggestions, photos or how to?

It is steel sheet metal. Your choice of stripping, priming, and satin black sounds like a plan.
