I'm planning on running some nitrous with TRW forged pistons.

How strong are these pistons? I'm planning on running a 300hp wet shot with these. Will they hold, or should I go to the JE's?

Well i ran a 150 shot on stockers but 300 on a GN motor might be a bit overboard , the JEs are lighter if im not mistaken which is reflected in the price id imagine . If you do shoot the 300 let us know !

well since he never said he has a GN engine id say they should be fine. they are a bit heavier then JEs but its doenst sound like you're going "ALL OUT", not with JUST a 300 shot.

haha

Oh man, I forgot about this thread.

The engine is going to be a heads/cam/nitrous V6 actually. The nitrous is the main power adder, so to speak. I was just unsure whether the TRW's would really handle a 300 shot or not. But it seems plans have changed anyway. I'm now looking at a set of Diamond Forgies that will give me a better comp to work with the cam.
