I getting ready to put it all back together just pulled motor and put all new bearing in it and all new gasketsin it.Now I would like to know how many more mods Ill need this is what I have done to it now(a 1987 GN not 84)

3" test pipe with dump
21/2 hooker exhaust

stock turbo
Adj wastegate
cold air intake with K&N filter
275/55/15 nitto drag radials

oil gauge
boost gauge

I would just like to be around the high to mid 12s.I just want to beat a couple of the importes in town.And a couple of North Plattes fast cars.

It reminds me of the good old days. You have more than enough in your combo to run a mid 12 (EASY). It will be determine in the tune and traction. I had a very similar combo 3 years ago and my car ran 12.52 at 110 mph all day long. Good Luck! :cool:
 
I have a similar combo as well, but I don't know how to launch this car. The best I could muster on 94 octane and 15-16 lbs of boost was a 13.7 @ 100mph. That was with a lucky 1.9x 60'. After I install the alky this spring, I am shooting for low 13's.
 
If you want to run 12s anytime, install a DIY alcohol system for around $150. You'll need to run 20lbs of boost or better.
