Hi,
Are there any drawbacks from not having a VSS signal or Park neutral indicator with V6.1 chip?
Factory GN Engine harness with Caspers Dash Mate harness.
There should still be gear position from engine harness & 2004R trans.
Working on 1988 Cutlass Hybrid project.

Thanks, Mike

The IAC operates at a different rate depending on Park or Drive. You likely won't notice a difference, but in some cases it could be prone to stalling.

With no MPH, the adjustable chip parameters will think its in 1st/2nd gear all the time. So any 3rd/4th parameter won't do anything.

Also, the torque converter will never lock (if you have a lockup).
