TTA 656--back on the road

Thanks to Scott(Ur50Slo) for getting her back on the road,,wow alot of work....
she has a pretty bad vibration when coming to a stop,thinking maybe the poly motor mounts,,,any ideas..
shes also running a bit hot when doing 65-70 mph,now equipped with a front mount intercooler..spal fans..cools down in about 3mins when stopped,,must have an air flow problem at high speeds..
Speedo and factory boost gauge are not operating yet...

I've always had Camaro's where we have a grille up front to let air flow in going down the road.

I do rembmer guy's with firebirds having cooling trouble at highway speeds with out that lower air deflector on there. Yours has the two huge holes in it from some other person with a FMIC. You can put that on there and I bet it'd help till you find a replacement.

I've never used the HR parts TTA Poly mounts before.. I use the GN mounts but they are almost a solid mount. They do transfer vibration to the chassis where you feel it very easy.
The instructions had me tighten them to a light torque and said it'd vibrate more if too tight.
Any Luck with those wire schematics? I might be heading up that way to visit some friends of mine in a couple weeks.

YEs i was trying to mount the air deflector on an angle, i have a new one on order for $28...

Jan said he would hook me up with the wire diagram for what we need...didnt check email yet..

I did find that cable in a box for the translator plus,,mine is running and yours is ready to ship..i bought 2 brand new coil packs from GM a while back,,do you remember opening a cardboard box for the one i gave u,(Maybe i didnt give it to you,but i dont see it here,i found the other one stilll sealed in the box...
no scan tool yet,i do keep getting a check engine light,its alway random,thought it was over temp indicator,,but seems when cooler i get check engine ..so not sure what that is yet..clears aftr restart..
outside is lookin like new,new rims on..pwr mirrors working..spoiler almost on...

Good deal there on the deflector!

I have one new coil pack from your parts here I swapped for the new one that's on the pack/module I gave you. (I put the pack/module that was bad back in that blue tote)
All I'd need is a good module.
What is the code for the Check engine light?
The chip might not be programmed for no EGR.
The Chip is also looking for a speedo signal which is not present either.
Let me know when you get the Wiring diagrams I'll figure out how to hoook all that up.

Glad to see your rolling again. Will the heads off of a BOP with those same valve covers fit on a GN, are those better heads on a TTA?

TTA heads,so the valve covers wont fit on a gn head,,they are said to flow better (stock for stock)

I have a KB FMIC on mine and I had the same problem...fine sitting still but under light load it would heat up fast...and that was with a BeCool and Spals...had to play with the fillers and ducting under and behind the bumper til I got the air moving in the right direction.
