Well bad news! One of my pumps is bad. There was a wiring issue with the Racetronix harness also with the ground wire, and the sender wire being reversed. I don't believe this is why the pump failed though. Of course Racetronix response is that I had the polarity reversed on the pumps. Not true. I've never dealt with someone so arrogant! Thank god it didn't ruin my fuel gauge!

What he is failing to mention is that he purchased our C4X DP in-tank harness to mate up with our Turbo Buick harness and assumed they would be terminal-compatible. Our Buick systems are all computer bench tested so there are ZERO wiring errors. When customers attempt to DIY their own solution by mixing and matching parts we cannot be held responsible when problems arise. They customer must know what they are doing or know to ask the correct questions in our forum. In this case, the customer's profile did not reflect his DP purchase so after a bit of head scratching and digging we found that this C4 in-tank Corvette harness had been thrown into the mix hence the problem!

I have never read a response from someone dealing with Racetronix that read something like "I called them and they took care of the issue. What a great company to deal with." It kind of sours me to the whole Racetronix name.

This problem has nothing to do with the pump not working.

If you ran the pump backwards it does...

You can send the pump in with a Racetronix return authorization and shipping docs for warranty consideration. If the pump has not been dropped, run dry etc. then it will be replaced no charge. This can be provided on Monday.
