Both of those kits look great, but can you tell any difference in the finished product? You can have both seat covers or one for basically the same price?

great question

is the car kit that much better than the jax kit? anyone have first hand exp. with either ........i need to do this but dont know if its worth the extra $ to go with the jax kit

I know two people who have bought the kit from Jax and they are mint.
I've seen both cars close up right next to two different low mile TTA's and you can't tell the difference between the Jax seats and the OEM seats.
I don't personally know anyone who bought the car motorsports set but Rich is known for making top quality stuff so I'm sure if you can make 'better' covers they did it.

There is a small upholstery shop here in Minerva, Ohio
that recovered both my front seats incl. the headrests
for around $700. He use's the origanal color GM leather
(Beechwood) and they look great. I checked with two
other upholstery shops in the area and they both wanted
$1600 to recover them using the same leather. Maybe he
could just make the seat covers and ship them to you or
depending on what shipping would cost you could send
him your seats. He told me that it would take about two weeks
to do my seats, but it was closer to a month. But it was
worth the wait. He cleaned the plastic on the seats and
tightened all the bolsters, which made them nice and firm
like when they were new. Here is his number if you or
anybody else are interested. FRITZ'S Upholster (330)868-5759
