Posting a few pics of a set of 4 wheels I can get for under $100 total. They are our bolt pattern, but look a little different than the nice 16's I've seen. Mainly the bolts towards the outer edge and a different honeycomb pattern. If I powdercoated the centers black, polished the lips, then powder cleared them, think they'd do the job? Resale on them any good once the work is done? I do my own powder coating, so that helps.

Whaddya think, for $85 with lugs and caps?

did someone add those bolts? they dont look like bolts that would be used on a wheel.

I hate to say no, James, but no. Even after cleaning them up, painting them, polishing them, & clearing them, they're still going to look like $100 rims.
I would wait & go 16" when you can afford them, even though they are going to be pricey by the time that you are done.
On the other hand though, you might be able to buy them, refinish them, & later sell them when you find some 16". Just adding 16" rims & some good tires will improve your cars attitude about handling.

Thanks for the info guys. I thought I could play around with them, clean, polish and powder coat them then make a few bucks with them from evil bay or something. Overall I'd be out $85 and my labor. But since they are only 15's, and since they have those bolts in them they may not be worth my time. Maybe I'll offer him $40 and just pack-rat them away if he sells cheap. I wasn't wanting to run them on my car, just trying to make a buck and play with another project. Thanks again guys!

I've been looking for a GNX looking 15" rim to use as a spare tire, worried with the way the roads are here and driving on DRs all the time... Buy 'em for $75 and I'll give you $40 for one:D
