The TTA heads are originally Buick heads, they were on the Century I believe. They are also on most all the front wheel drive Buicks and Pontiacs of the 80's. Of course they will work on a Buick, the TTA block is a Buick 109 block. The only difference is the TTA block has SG1 in the casting. The SG1 block was produced as a replacement block for the Buicks. If you are putting the TTA heads in a Buick you will need to change the headers and if you want to run the TTA stock boost of 16.5 PSI you will need to change the pistons to the correct TTA dish (this part is completely optional). There is only a 6 cc difference in the 2 pistons which is about a 1/2 point in compression ratio, no big deal.
