TTA Land Speed record?

A while back there was a TTA or 3rd gen fbody that went 200+ mph on the flats. Does anyone have a link of this information?

Check the "sticky". They went nearly 300 mph.

Hi,
I was driving the car through Arkansas, and an Cadillac XLR blew by me at 90 or so. I let him get about a half mile ahead of me, and then I thought, F it. I put the hammer down,went by him at 120 plus.The car was rock solid at that speed, I felt safe doing it. My TType would have been scary at that speed., but not the old Furrbird! Built to run, that's for sure. By the way, the XLR didn't take up the challenge,probably for the best...The point is, these cars are windtunnel tested, faster than F4 cars anyday, in a flatout race. God bless the Bonneville salttrack!
