I just bought a TTA and was wondering what kind of mods should I do first, and who I should buy this stuff from. I have a GN, but not sure if a lot of the mods are the same. Also, where could I get a rear spoiler and deck lid from, mine is cracked.

Thanks
Chris

First off congrats on the purchase! The TTA is the best money i've ever spent. And it too suffers from a cracked spoiler.

They seem to carry the fiberglass spoilers and they are who I will be ordering my new one from. Hope this helps.

Thanks, and thanks for the nice link. Will a regular Buick GN chip work for a TTA, and also the MAF translator.

Thanks
Chris

Engine and electronics everything will interchange exept, headers, heads, crossover, downpipe, and oil filter assy. Belt is a little shorter and special.

All the sensors, chips, etc pretty much the same.

The TTA FP regulator was 45 PSI, the GN was 37 PSI

I am looking to put on a better downpipe and exhaust system. I know that the buicks have certain exhaust systems with a drone, so I figure the TTA's do as well. Which exhaust system is the best one out there with out the drone. Also, who makes the best downpipe with a wastegate location.

Thanks
Chris

Many of your questions (and future questions) are answered directly or indirectly in our TTA FAQ List in the Sticky at the top of this forum.

Look at the performance of TTA's with stock downpipes....You don't need to replace the stock downpipe until you're well into the 11's (on pump gas!) :D You'll find a muffler and F-Body spoiler thread there too.

The trendy first modification might be the alchy kit. You'll be low 12's high 11's with stock everything and an alchy kit. I think that is different than the GN, No? ;)

I have driven my TTA for a while now and have noticed that the torque convertor doesn't always lock. So, sometimes at 60 mph I am tacking a little over 2k....and other times 1700, any ideas why my convertor is not locking. Another qustion is about sub-frame connectors and if I even need them. I would like to go into the low 11's with this car. While I was replacing the hood shocks I checked out the downpipe. How in the world does a 3" downpipe fit? Will I have to strap down my motor just like I did my GN. Sorry for so many questions.

Thanks
Chris

Oh,...and 1 more thing. Is there any type of bracket for the lisense plate that wouldn't require drilling a hole in the front bumper.

THanks
