tubbing: how much is to be gained?

for all of you boys who have mini tubbed their buick's: how much do you gain by just mini tubbing, and not notching the frame rails, secondly, when you minitub, did you have to relocate the springs and coils?

also photos would be wicked.

If you dont notch the frame, youre not gonna gain much of anything.

alirght then, where are the guys who have notched the frame and do they have any pics of there narrowing. also how structural is the frame in the back of the car.

i have no problem fabricating, i will will be building a custom narrowed 9" for the job, i was hoping to run 15" tires or more. something stupid wide, that looks like it means business from behind.
