Just want to make sure what i am doing isn't going to cost me a head gasket or more !
I was having a problem with my car bucking/stuttering and losing power up top. So after adjusting fuel and spark up down and all around, the only way i can get some top end power and no bucking/stutter was to drop fuel down 9% via the chip, and up timing about 22/20 around what an alky chip has. Iv got the alky knob on 4-5 anything more the car bucks and stutters up top.
The cars mods are in my signature, not much there, i have added a gutted cat. The chip is a 93 street chip. Iv talked to Eric and he confirmed with me a couple times that the only difference between alky and street chips are fuel and timing and to play with that. Boost is at 20, fuel pressure at 43, and rising under throttle to around 65+, 02's up around 810/820. What do you think will dropping that much fuel with the timing set where it is, along with alky knob setting hurt me?
