Last time at the track I had a problem getting the trans. to shift into second during a run. It would shift from 2-3 during a burn out and in the pits but under race conditions it would not shift. I checked the shifter (turbo action) and cable and they appear to be in good working order. Could this be possible or might it be driver error.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff, you're getting to that performance level where you're going to start experiencing more intermediate sprag flipping, even if it is the typical HD unit.

Even if you find that the problem is not the sprag, and you plan on sticking with a sprag, I highly recommend that you switch to the super sprag setup.

I flipped three new HD sprag/drum assemblies within one to two passes and finally switched to the super sprag setup. A truly fantastic upgrade. The last time I had the trans apart to check things out, the assembly looked brand new. No race denting like you'd find with the typical HD setup.

I will give you a call tomorrow.
