May 2, 2010 #4 W whitehot1 Well-Known Member Joined Oct 24, 2006 Messages 4,682 I have found that studs work better for fastening the down pipe to the turbo. Much less chance of breaking bolts off in the turbo if you have to remove either for some reason.
