Turbo Break in

Do turbo's have a break in period or procedure?

I hope not. After I installed my new TE-44, I drove the car for about 10 miles to get it warmed up then nailed it and tuned the boost to 22#. That was over 3 years and many 1/4 mile passes ago with no problems.
