As the title says, where does one get a coolant line kit for our Buicks?

I'm having my te 60-1 rebuilt, the guy is installing a Garrett BB center section, he said it is not necessary to cool it, but the fittings are there so I figure I might as well put them to use. he also went into detail about the turbine wheels and the material they are made out of but all that went over my head.

I'll post more details on what was done to the turbo once I get it back as when I was told what was being done to it I drew a blank, too many fancy words etc LOL! Either way I am confident this will work, Rock the builder came very highly recommended (he is local) a mechanical engineer who designs turbos for the automotive industry and races and builds turbos as a side business.

Jim,
Garrett has a few good white papers on how to run the water lines. I would install the coolant lines just like the water cooled turbo on a syclone. Use the feed side fitting off of the heater line for the inlet. The return side fab up a line and install it in the water drain in the side of the block. I would use #6 AN line and fittings. Good luck.

Thanks Bob, I'll look into this, the turbo builder said he could fab something up if I really insist on it, he still tells me I will not need them. This is going to be a Frankenstein turbo but he came very highly recommended. I'll have it back Friday so we'll see how it works then, I'll also have more specific details. I'll write them down this time.

I finally got my turbo back, here are some more details. It turns out that I don't need the coolant lines (Thanks for the offer to help Bob!) .

The turbo was rebuilt with a garrett 757197-5001 dual ball bearing center section. It's a P trim ball bearing unit

I should have it installed the next couple of days since I'm working screwy 12 hour shifts this week which take me away from home again. I hope this turbo works well as I was very please with the te-60-1 I had previously.
