i hear a lot of filtering going on, at lube supply side of the turbo; that protects the turbo......
im amazed that i see hardly anything going in the turbo drain line to protect the engine
if the turbo takes a dump.
i assume we would like to keep the engine oil sump/pan clean of turbo debris ?
maybe turbos dont take dumps o_O
your thoughts are welcome

thx jeremy

We utilize a drain flange for our pro cars from Wolfe Racecraft...it has a screen in place to catch the larger particles if you were to have a catastrophic failure. The mesh has to be pretty big so it will not hamper the oil return back to the engine. Most turbo failures will cause only minor amounts of contaminates, but this will help if you have a major failure.
