Turbo Emblems

Did some TTA's come from the factory without the Turbo emblems on the fenders? I was told this by an owner of a TTA for sale, and I wanted to make sure it was accurate.

Yes after the first 200 or 300 cars they Turbo emblems where on back order so the cars was sold without them then the dealers got the emblems along with a letter and template and a $10 cheque from PAS to contact the owner and install the emblems for him/her .... many forgot about it or just picked up the emblems form the dealers but never put them on the car ...

1 of my cars came without them on the car and were later mailed to the dealer and then the dealer went out of business and the owner wrote to pas and he finally got a set for the car. i have apic of the car new with no emblems and all kinds of letters from pas to him and from him to pas.

Cool story, would you have time to scan and share the letters and the photo of your TTA when new? I've seen the documents sent to the dealer but no "private" communication directly with PAS on this subject so would be nice to see.
