turbo for the college kid on a budget...

Well when i bought the car it came with a te60, loved it, till someone had to borrow the car real quick and came back with blue smoke pouring out...changed the turbo to a turbo netics stage II turbo i got of EBAY, that turbo went south one day when i Floored the pedal and blew off one of my front mount intercoolers, which did something bad and blew the turbo again, while repairing the original turbo the shaft was damaged and no longer opperable. I took apart both turbos and combined the two into one, the turbo is now a TE60 with the turbonetics stage II shaft and exhaust housing useing the te60 compressor housing and wheel. the center section of the te60 was also used...this turbo is purely a "for the time being" repair untill i get out of college and start working, i thought i would just share my little story for anyone interested in a good laugh, it should be interesting to see how the turbo handles, especially since its an ar of ,83...yikes haha

Thats a BIG exhaust housing.....im a college kid too and I now have a CPT61 on there after the my PT54 and stock turbo went.......some turbos suck
