i plan on putting a rear mount setup on my 04 GTO, and running about 8-9 psi. alot of people are going gt-67, but i want a TE style turbo, but not sure which one would be most efficient at that low a boost level. te-45a is what i would prefer, they sound sooo much better, but will it work?? i currently have about 360rwhp and 345rwtq, and plan on porting the heads in the future as well, looking for about 530/510 for my final numbers. so what do any of you think would be the best combination of parts, especially the exhaust side. on a side note, being a 6 speed, i kinda want to go a bit big, as i really like the slow onset of a big turbo, kinda used to big single supras.
P.S. it also has to be an e-bay special, so no fancy one off stuff. thanks

I think you got the wrong kind of crowd of people. Im not a fan of the way to far in the back turbo.

well i was just figuring someone would know approximate airflow potential and needs plus have knowledge of a reasonably sized turbos characteristics. alot of people dont like rear mounted turbos cause their ignorant and closed minded though. i was hoping that wouldnt be the case here, that or no one really knows.
anyway even if you dont like them going for a ride in one would change your mind quickly i think. especially when a homebuilt system can be had for at most 2000 dollars. im shooting for about 1300 total, max. that setup should tide me over till my girdled 109 with ported champions and a te45a gets finished, though that could be awhile

I may have a line on a used setup from a friends's car. Shoot me a PM if you have any interest. I thought about it for my car, but I'm probably going back to stock and selling to concentrate on the GN more.
