turbo heat shield

well i installed my THDP and of course the heat shield didnt fit. I downloaded a template from gnttype.org, cut it out, and cut it out. Its all wrong. I'm thinking i put the template backwards on the shield when I cut it out. So now I'm looking for another shield to cut and make fit. The piece I cut out is straight and clean, so if I cant get one for a cheap price. I'll weld it back together, recut it, grind it smooth, and repaint it.

So let me know what you have. Thanks in advance

I have a chrome one in good shape already cut for a DP, Im not planning on using it for the new turbo.

hello; I know you mentioned price but if I was you consider the blanket cover that's out there as a alternative. I think i'm going to go that route.

hello; I felt like that at one time and like some things thoughts change. I've seen some decent looking ones and there was a site I found that says it makes custom pcs. for a nice fit. But there not cheep. There was a time I said I would never have a TB.
