Here is the easiest way to ID the PTE housings.
The THB3-69 means this,
THB = Turbine Housing Buick 3-bolt inlet, 4-bolt downpipe flange 84-87 & 89 TTA
3 = .63 A/R
69 = TO4 69 trim turbine wheel, one size down from the P-trim wheel.
If the housing had this number THB5-69 stamped on it, this means that the 5 = .85 AR. This is true for all of PTEs turbine housing numbering system.
All of PTEs turbine housings that they make from scratch have this CNC part number on them. It can start with THB, THF, TH, THO.
THB = Buick
THF = Ford 4-bolt T3 inlet flange, 5-bolt downpipe flange, mainly 99% used on import applications and was OEM on the SVO Mustang.
TH = T4 inlet flange, Tangential, 3 5/8" OD V-band downpipe flange.
THO = T4 inlet flange, On center, round 4 bolt downpipe flange.
The only exception to this would be the PT88s turbine housings. All of Garretts turbine housings have the part number stamped on them as well as the A/R number.
