Turbo Identification

Just want to verify what turbo I have. A friend told me it was a te44 but I might as well ask you guys. Its got the following marks on it Garrett A\R .60 M24 L Any info would be great thanks

Those numbers on the outside that are cast do not mean squat.

Turn the turbo upside down and look at the silver side of the turbo, the compressor housing should have been scribed or etched as to what it is.

That or let us know if the NUT on the compressor housing is 6 or 12 point, then we can go from there.
